A beautifully balanced year overall, critical for Grenache with an evenness during vintage without any heat spikes.

    HARVEST

Early April from ancient sandy river beds on the Eastern flank of Vine Vale from two vineyards aged between 20 and 40 years, 340m above sea level so relatively high for Ngadjuri Country, selected as they accentuate the desired pretty florals of Grenache.

Gently pressed via a perforated basket press. Matured in 40% older seasoned French Oak for 9 x months, remainder in stainless steel to retain freshness.

    AROMA

Pretty and immediately expressive, multi layered aromas of raspberry, dried cherries, lifted spices and rhubarb.

    TASTE
Medium bodied with layers of tannins and savoury earthy flavours balanced with a textured waves of spicy fruit. Complex, soft on the palate with a fineness and elegance counter balanced with generosity and depth of texture that speaks of it’s munda (land or country).
